About me
DJ Swordz, Belgian dj and turntablist with Filipino roots. In 2021 I became the DMC World Champion in the scratching & portablist categories. I got inspired watching a video of the DMC 98 US final, DJ Craze won... ,bought myself 2 turntables & a mixer. I got inspired by the mix "The Camel Bobsled Race" by DJ Shadow and DJ QBert (1997).
Around 2000's, the deejay group IFC Crew (Iron Finga Cutz) was founded with Swordz, DJ Cross, Mastafingaz and DJ Jack. In 2007 Swordz moved to Prague & was a resident at the Hip Hop Kemp festival for many years. When moving back to Belgium I started scratching again and the rest is history! Currently I am performing with CTMB (2023 DMC world scratch champion), Beatsurfing & Fleddy Melculy.
